Year 1 Preseason Week 3 - Cowboys win again

The Cowboys dominated on offense, running the ball 36 times for 191 yards, Despite this domination, they had to eek out a win against a gritty Miami Dolphins team that wouldn't give up.

Dallas again opened an early lead, going up 10-0 early in the 2nd quarter, after an 81 yard drive was capped off with a Laron Byrd touchdown on a pass from Brandon Weeden.

The Cowboys would never trail in the game, but had to sweat out the last few minutes, when, ahead 20-10, Matt Moore hit Dion Sims for a 6 yard touchdown pass to close the gap to 3.

The Dolphins would get the ball twice in the last 3 minutes to tie or win the game, but both drives were interrupted by untime interceptions by Sterling Moore and Cameron Lawrence respectively.

The Cowboys move to 2-1 in the preseason and will make their final roster cuts this week.
