EA Sports not making another NASCAR

We can only hope they are not! For the most part EA is great for sports gaming, but NASCAR is not one of their strong spots. When they took over the rights for NASCAR gaming they killed a great long running of NASCAR games that Papyrus put out. NASCAR Racing 2003 Season was the best in my opinion. You were able to have custom car, paint schemes, tracks, even was able to customize your pit crew if you want to take the time. Blackhole Motorsports still has a lot of the add-ons and mods on their site available for download.
One of the mods I remember the most was Project Wildfire that added additional racing series� to the game. The track that sticks in my mind the most was not a mod but it came with the game as a fantasy track. The Coca Cola Superspeedway was a killer track that basically took Bristol, Daytona, and Talladega mixed it together and made a Super Super Super Speedway!
With all things said I really hope this brings back the online sim racing like it once was. I really hope Papyrus/Sierra get reinvolved with NASCAR gaming and/or IRacing.com which is manged by founders of the Papyrus Design Group. PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE make another great NASCAR racing sim like there once was!!
