I think many will agree that MLB The Show is by far the best baseball game in the gaming market. I personally feel that the Show crew is light-years past the 2ksports group. However, I really wish they would attempt an online franchise mode. This would put an already great game over the top. I understand that the game has a strong single player following, but so did EA Sports with NCAA Football. The online dynasty has been one of the best additions to online gaming in years. SCEA has proven they are a superior group of programs with producing a game as good as the Show. With that said, you can easily outdo EA Sports. In my personal opinion and several friends I game with, feel they are the blind squirrel that occasionally finds their nut and creates a good game. (Sorry I couldn�t resist)
Some of the features I would like to see with an online franchise would be a complete and true franchise. Please do not say you have an online franchise and then half-*** it like EA did with Madden. Salary cap and free agency is needed for an NFL franchise� But I feel you could take a page from EA sports NCAA Football crew. Give us a complete online franchise with free agency, player trades, draft, AA/AAA farm system included, etc� Another great add would be an online interface similar to NCAA Football. Just think being able to log onto the Shownation and checking to see if your buddy accepted the trade you offered him last night, or the highly rated free agent decided to sign with you over your friends. Plus it would be a place to post highlights on your game. Also, allow us to interact with on 25 and 40 man rosters online by sending guys up or down within your farm system.
I know it is not as easy as it is for me to type this, but the technology is there, just use it. Make more money from it� Make it an additional download for $30! I would definitely pay for that additional content. I know we may not get everything we want in an online franchise at first, but at least give us the core that makes it a franchise. After that take the gamers� feedback and add to it and improve it for the next season.

Anyway so much for my rant� Maybe it will get a little attention, maybe it will not. Hopefully I limited my typos. I wrote while watching the special news break on the US taking out Bin Laden!
