Week 3 Notes

The Falcons beat the Saints 27-10 behind Michael Turner's 115 yards rushing and 1 touchdown. The Saints dropped to 0-3 and are in danger of missing the playoffs unless they start performing at a higher level.

The Broncos signed D.D. Lewis to a one year contract. Lewis was on the Broncos roster in the 2007 season but did not see any action. He is an 8 year veteran and expects to see action a's a backup.

Phillip Rivers received player of the week awards. He passed for 350 yards and 4 touchdowns in a 34-20 victory over the Seahawks.

Lorenzo Alexander captured defensive player of the week with a 6 tackle 2 sack and 1 forced fumble performance. The redskins dominated the Rams in the game winning 21-3.
