After last weeks thrashing at the hands of the Colts McDaniels promised a better effort against the league's leading rusher. It was hard to believe that was possible after watching the Colt's mediocre running attack almost gain 270 yards.

On Sunday not only did the Bronco defense hold Chris Johnson in check, the team exploded offensively scoring on 3 plays of 50 yards or longer. Eddie Royal also returned his league leading third punt for a touchdown and Ryan McBean recorded 4 tackles, 3 sacks, a fumble forced, a fumble recovered, and an interception return for a touchdown. The defensive end received NFL defensive player of the week honors. The third year player caught a batted ball at the line of scrimmage and galloped 34 yards down the side line for his first career touchdown. Later he sacked Vince Young from behind forcing a fumble and was able to recover it himself.

Big plays were the name of the game. In the first quarter Brandon Lloyd caught a 73 yard touchdown pass from Kyle Orton. Later in the first Orton delivered a perfect 54 yard strike to Eddie Royal who ran untouched into the end zone. Later in the second quarter Knowshon Moreno broke off a 90 yard touchdown run. He finished with 177 yards rushing and 1 touchdown. The sophmore player is now third in the NFL in rushing yardage.

Despite racking up 403 yards of total offense the Broncos only had 8 first downs. The Titans looked scattered and never recovered after the early barrage of big plays by the Broncos. Denver routinely packed the box and dared Vince Young to complete passes. He was inaccurate all game long completing less than 50 percent of his passes. He was harassed by the Denver defense and sacked 6 times.
