FINS' GO OFF AS DEFENSE RIPS
CARDINALS FOR 5 INTs IN MIAMI WIN

Associated Press

GLENDALE, Ariz. -- The defense was catching pass after pass in a flashback to when this group ranked in the top 5 in defense.

"When you have one of those days when everything's clicking and you feel like you can't be stopped, it brings back a lot of memories of those great years," Karlos Dansby said.

Miami's Montrel Gibbons gained 97 yards on 15 carries and scored another two touchdowns to equal his incredible week 1 performance. The Dolphins (2-0) won their second straight road game.

"We still had a chance to dig ourselves out of that hole and still make some plays," Arizona wide receiver Larry Fitzgerald said.

Larry Fitgerald had eight receptions for 157 yards, and two touchdowns. The first was an incredible catch in the middle of the field in front of the safety. The second was breaking away from the press at the line of scrimmage.

This performance comes at a great time for a Miami team that may finally be escaping its sorry history after a 28-21 victory over Arizona that has the Dolphins 2-0 for the first time in this franchise.

The Fins head into the Bye Week with a victory and have extra time to prepare for the Cleveland Browns in week 4.
