The Flyers have fired General Manager Paul Holmgren after 7 seasons as GM. Senior VP Bob Clarke addressed the media today and stated that Holmgren was a class act in his departure from the team.
Clarke went on to say that they have no replacement as of yet but have lowered the list down to two names. No one is certain as to who those two are as of yet. Clarke also made it clear that they " weren't overly happy with some of the moves that have been made and knows that this team needs something done now."
This could be the beginning of change in Philly, as of right now you know the players are gonna be nervous coming into pre season action knowing that there jobs could be expendable.
We will have more info as the story progresses!
