I told a good buddy of mine that although Madden is progressing at a pretty swift pace, if he wants to get the true Madden experience, he should skip this year and re up for Madden Armageddon.

*Ian Cummings and company would have had 3 years to implement their vision. The true gauge for gamers would be playing Madden Favre (2009) and comparing it to Madden Romo (2012).

*The economy would be a tad more stable, allowing EA to invest more money into an established franchise vs a struggling franchise. It's just business.

*New collective bargain agreement in the NFL will allow them to invest a ton of money into online franchise without the fear that their money would return void with new league changes.

*Playstation move and Xbx kinect will bring in a ton of new gamers. A percentage of these will be football fans, which potentially means a few new madden gamers. You gotta make Madden accessible for this new plethora of gamers and you as a gamer should want this. More gamers into the fold means more money to reinvest.

With that said, what I would like to see from a game play experience next year, more than anything else and judging by the fact that every year when I post a suggestion EA takes my advice, without giving me any credit is........drum roll please........... A relationship between the players feet and ground! This is way more important than controlling the upper body with the right stick. Give me the ability to sense and feel plants and cuts from the ground up and Madden Armageddon will sell 10 million. All I ask, send me a finished copy 2weeks in advance. And oh yeah, you can pitch Romo for the cover as the first time a player from America's team has graced the cover. Americas team meets America's favorite video game.

All I'm saying is that their is a hopeful Madden future looming on the horizon. The video game industry is not the same industry of yesteryear. This is a business like any other. Now, Madden 2012 will be Ian's 3rd year in charge. If he gives you a medicre offering next year, by all means...burn his butt at the sticks! This stuff takes time, so try to stay patient or hold out until next year or worse case scenario play Ncaa. John Daniels, general manager of the Texas rangers sold me a plan to be competitve in 2011 for the AL west. He said it would take time, but lo and behold it's paying off. Apply the same mindset to your beloved Madden. To quote, Bishod Td jakes, " it's only a matter of time!"

I would also like to see the player's feet actually look like they're planting as well...I hate it when they sink in/skate across the surface. But if you're gonna put a cowboy on the cover, make it Miles Austin or DeMarcus Ware
