Are we screwing up Madden day?

Quick question, are we as gamers sabotaging the annual ecstasy, which is madden football by constantly nit picking? If you ask any Madden player, who plays the game and does not visit or know the first thing about Operation Sports, how do they feel about the game? They all light up with glee. In my opinion my love for Madden has been stolen by the people who are on a crusade to expose Madden for the same game, year in and out. Well I'm officially fed up and I'm officially replugging myself back into the Matrix! I will play my Madden 2011 blindly and love it like I did every other Madden pre operation sports. If anyone wants to join this crusade.....post away.

Enjoy...it only matters that you like the game, not what dozens of other people may say. Every game is going to be flawed, it is all about what works for you...what flaws can you deal with or not deal with. Enjoy M11 to the fullest!!!

I'm not a madden Fan, But feel your pain when other games run your fun.I like BackBreaker but everybody hated on it. But it did not ruin my fun. I will have fun regardless. If you like madden get to it MAN LOL

i feel ya on this one....i loved espn 2k5 & still do to this day,but what bugs me the most how sum guys actually pause & replay youtube vids an actually..analized flaws in the game...EA have made strides since 09 & c'mon folks no matter how u see it they all remain to be just video games...i come from a generation where i enjoyed playin old games like 10yard fight/ superplayaction football...techmo bowl...yes people have gone to far with these games...mad if a player dont have the right socks or nike shoes....lol!

I agree buddy !! Going in !! I know they will never be able to emulate real football in a video game, but even coming close to it is something I appreciate....I'm OLD !! I have bad knees !! and can no longer play real football, but at least I can still fill my football fix with this game and I don't have to injure myself anymore : )

I don't understand how someone can let the opinion of others ruin a game experience. That doesn't make sense to me. If you like the game then keep playing it and ignore those that don't. I'm not trying to be harsh but maybe you should stay away from the OS forums for a while because not everyone is going to love Madden like you do.

I understand the psychology of letting others affect what and how a person thinks but you definitely have to learn to be your own person, completely, and just enjoy what YOU like and not worry about everyone else.
That being said, MADDEN 11 DEMO TOMORROW!!! YAAAAAAAAYYYYYYYYYYY!!!!! Lol.

i love and play madden since 2000, and i can`t wait to get madden 11 on my hands!!!!!!
EA did a great job this jear!!nobody expect`s the super bowl celebration, and its awsome!!!!!

I saw some information on Attack of the Show on G4, about a study that shows reviews and opinions do affect sales and a person opinion of the game. When the extreme nit pickers pick apart the latest NCAA or Madden game it does put a wet blanket on your fun. I agree with the poster. I am tired of people with nothing better to do then break a game and play it very unrealistically just to prove it has flaws. Of course it has flaws!!!! Its a freakin video game. If want real, just watch real football!!! Play the game realistically. That is how they are made. Use sliders!! I have played football video games since 10 yard fight and all have had flaws. I bought NCAA the day it came out and I will buy Madden the day it comes out. I just love football video games and will love these games as well.

Madden will always be good. It will continue to grow. While Madden has been better in some years than others, one thing is for certain - the game is always fun.

While I see your point, I take a different stance. The consistent criticism in the forum during pre-release, mostly by way of demo's, really helps any development team uncovered issues prior to full release. While most issues can be uncovered by development teams, nothing can test the platform when it is stress tested by release to the masses.
