Real time physics won't be in Madden Wii U
Posted on August 4, 2012 at 11:31 AM.
Earlier in the week Electronic Arts announced they are bringing Madden 2013 to the Wii U....Good news right? But the even bigger news is that the Infinity Engine--the primary upgrade in Madden 2013 for the PS3 and Xbox 360 (which for the first time brings real-time physics to the madden franchise)--will not be included in Madden 2013 Wii U! Instead, Wii U Madden players will get touch screen features that were already included in Madden 3DS and via motion controls on the original Wii. My question to EA Sports... Since this is basically Madden 2012 rebranded, will Wii U gamers get a discount on the price... Madden 2012 runs for approximately 20 dollars currently, and surely you don't expect gamers to have to fork over 60.00 for an outdated product, void of the biggest feature EVER in Madden's history... Or do you?

EA always does this on new hardware. Madden 06 XBOX 360 was missing all of the features of Madden 06 XBOX 1. Madden 08 60fps on XBOX 360, Madden 08 30fps on PS3. Madden 13 Vita missing many features of the console versions, they said they will get it right on Madden 14. This is nothing new & it had absolutely nothing to do with the Wii U.
