I fell for it last year. Fool me once same on you, fool me twice, shame on me.
What do you say after being fooled over and over again for almost a decade?

I know Madden has some new people on board. And some things look like an honest effort to improve things.. But until I actually SEE results based on impressions from members here at OS after the game is out, I'm not willing to fall for the hype.

To the OPs here at OS who blog these news updates for Madden.. (Right now I'm looking at at least a half dozen blogs with video hyping up various new features), at the risk of being banned, YOU have a certain responsibility to act as a critical filter. One reason so many OSers get burned every year is because they buy into what you're "Selling". And every year around November, when everyone has come to the same conclusion that the game didnt live up to the hype, or has problems beyond compare. There comes a series of blogs from the very same people who are writing the previews in May, regarding why so many OSers keep spending their money on a faulty product.
Let me save everyone some time now.. Why wait until November.
The reason we keep supporting a game that has continously let us down, year after year, is because you keep posting these blogs saying that "this year is going to be different". And it never is.
Please please please.. Until the game is released, and members have had time to playtest it, hold off on telling us how great the game is going to be. Unfortunately Madden has squandered it's privilege of the "Benefit of the Doubt". They now must PROVE their worth on merit not potential.
Until the game is in our hands, all bets are off.

Meh, I say if you're paying $60 for a game that you know was crap last year, solely because some guy on a website has a boner for it, you probably deserve to get burned on that purchase. Red Box people, Red Box.
