Madden 11 - 5 Passing Concepts for Every Play
Posted on September 4, 2010 at 11:27 AM.
Here is what I expect out of my passing plays.

-A quick read that must be defended against - typically a flat route or some type of quick pass out of the backfield ( ex. DAL- TE Out)

-A route that consistently beats man- any type of unbumpable is what we are looking for (ex. PA WR IN)

-The option to add protection based on defensive look- blue routes are the best but always have a option to keep in to block

- A route that gets to the 1st down marker- smart route one route so that it allows you to pick up a first down with a completion

-A late outlet or flat route as a safety valve- once again this is where our blue routes come into play- there are a couple "double" blue routes in the game these are the best (ex. ARI- Cards Dig, NE- Deep Fork, CAR- Panthers Cross)

Ex. Play Madden 11 Post Corners! (found in the Balanced PB and TB)

What do you look for with your passing plays?

You definitely sound like the guy I should go to with this question...

... is it actually possible to "read" the defense, or pick up on things like that at the line of scrimmage?. And if so, how?.

Thanks Gibs =D

Feel free to add me here and on Xbox Live.
