Alright so after another month of playing madden 11....i have come up with several things that i think implemented will continue to make madden better and more of "what the people want". if you missed my first write up. ill post those ideas here first before i get into the new stuff
Simply put, Madden 12 has the potential to be the best football game ever made.....and quite easily too, The developers over at Ea really just need to give the community what it wants and Go balls out on madden 12. here is my list of things, in no particular order that will make madden 12 the greatest football game ever
1. progressive lighting
2. franchise needs a complete overhaul, way more options, i want to build a new stadium but not move my team. league suspensions, hold outs, be able to have a 90 man roster at first and have to make cuts, sign players to practice squads etc. i wanna be able to adjust how i want to pay my player his money over his contract, either all up front, all at the end, in the middle, etc.
3. continuing in franchise, make preseason play like preseason, my back ups come in in the 2nd half but opposing teams 1st team stays on....lets have both switch...and in similar form to how they do in real life from 1st preseason game through the 4th. when a player gets hurt...and i put him on I.R. the computer still tells me i have to many ppl on my roster to sign someone, so then i have to cut someone i dont want to....when they are on I.R. that should remove him from the roster for that season.
4. we have signature animations for qb's, why not add some for halfbacks, wideouts, db's etc...
5. broadcast integration. they finally got rid of tom hammond, and thank you! but every other ea sports title (major sport) has broadcast integration, nba elite, ncaa football 11, and ncaa college basketball 11 had dual broadcast integration. i seriously think madden needs dual broadcast integration, preferably from cbs and fox since thats where the majority of games or broadcast. keep gus johnson and pair him up with like phil simms or someone, get buck and aikman from fox if possible. and blow us away with ur effort ea!
6. extra point overhaul! ok i know everyone was pissed bout this last year, and even more pissed to see they didnt change a thing, still no highlights, very robotic commentary. i mean, 2k5 had chris berman, mel kiper, trey wingo covering scores, highlights, injuries, trades, and college players...just like real life! the halftime show had berman narrating the highlights, and post game had suzy kulber doing interviews! common...that game was made 6 years ago....ea....u literally have no excuse to not give us this....since the extra point is nfl network based....give us rich eisen and gang doing post game and half time highlights, and do a highlight show with them also!!
7. give us some penalties please!! go through, look at the stats, make teams who are more penalized in real life get similar penalties in the game....everything we see on sunday right??
8. customizable celebrations- enough said
9. fix play action blocking
10. fix kick return blocking
11. bring back formation subs, this is what real nfl teams do....we should have that option, ncaa 11 gave it to us...common.
12. a few years ago madden gave us formation audibles....u could run the same play but audible to a diff formation...that needs to be brought back.
13. for create a player, steal a page from 2k and allow full facial design, this will also mean draft classes should have mostly different looking players.
14. more equipment options- ncaa 11 trumps madden 11 in this category
15. i know some of the stuff i have mentioned falls into this category but oh well....bring back all the things that ppl fell in love with madden on xbox and ps2. and my idea is bring all this back as options for ppl to use with in a game. to each his own but this allows people who liked certain things to play with it, and those who didnt not too. but i am talking :

16. the addition of stragety pad had pissed alot of people off, and even tho they bringing back the old way to make adjustments, neither arent any good until Ea fixes the cpu qb. hardly ever in real life do qbs walk up and say hike....they always scan the defense and make adjustments.....ea should make the cpu qbs take at least 10-15 sec off play clock depending on situation.
17. remove hyper speed towards the ball...whether its receiver or db or lb, they all have this little burst of speed towards the ball, it needs to be gone.
alright there is my list. let me know what you think, or if you feel i missed anything....however i feel those are the major things that should be added to madden 12....and the majority of it shouldnt be that hard since they had it in previous versions, the toughest part will be presentation.

1. Chemistry. but not just an over all team chemistry (which i do think should be included) but i am talking about all the smaller specific chemistrys that matter in the nfl that break down the team chemistry. ex.
Offensive line chemisty. ask anyone. a oline thats played together longer will do better than one with constantly changes members. this would be a great way to help reduce alot of trades. and can help determine protection and runningback performance. it might influence some people to keep their o line in tact and develop players.
DB chemistry- how long the secondary has played together and under the defensive system could effect how they flow to the ball and how less often assignments are missed.
center/ qb chemistry. if they been together a while their should be hardly any botched snaps or erant snaps from shotgun. if they are a new combo....these should be more frequent.
WR chemistry qb chemistry- a qb should be on targert more with qbs he been with longer than a new guy...it should take some time to develop that chemistry everyone always talksa bout with qbs. think it isnt a big deal in the nfl? go watch the vikings play this year!
defensive front 7 chemistry- should effect gap control, correct coverages, missed assignments. or lack there of.
2.thats it for chemistry. now lets get into trades.
hopefully the chemistry addition would tone down alot of trades cuz the cpu still can get bullied quite a bit. but to add to it. and make it more realistc. how about in a franchise mode if a player is traded for. he has to learn the new offensive or defensive scheme. and their is a meter for how far he comes along. it could make u only put him in for a few specific plays each game until he gets more knowledgeable of the play book. we see this in the nfl! if he is put in right away for alot of plays. we shoudl see more incorrect routes ran, blocking assignments missed, missed assignments by dbs. running backs goin to the wrong side to get a hand off etc.
3.give players personalities and tendencies. nba 2k has player type. like laid back, expressive, neutral etc etc. i think something like that would be great in madden. if a player is extremely expressive. he should be complaining to the refs more and get more penalites from frustratoin to the refs. also tendencies to drop passes over the middle, to run out of bounds, to make tough catches, to hold, to clip, to pass interference, to false start. clearly stats could be put together for this. and some players do these more/less than others. this would continue to add a ton of realism.
4. Graphics wise.... think they should steal another page from 2k and make the jerseys look more like jerseys instead of all glossy. 2ks look like cloth....go look at a screen shot of all pro 2k8. the jerseys look so sick and real. u can see the threading!! and the rain bounces of the helmet...thats pretty cool.
lets talk weather. first off...what happened to the fog? and rain games look alright cept there is no field degeneration, or players uni's getting dirty. but snow games is where it really gets me mad. for heavy snow....the field should slowly get more snowy. to the point u cant see anything on the field. and during quarter breaks u have guys shovel out the lines of the field. but any crazy snow game....thats what it is like in real life...and also...any rain/snow game should have a 25% increase in dropped passes. it should be more of a running/field position battle.
also....on cut scenes in weather games....its like the rain and snow stop falling....wtf? lol
5. hopefully this will be addressed by adding in broadcast integrations. but regardless we need way better looking stat overlays. and not just over looking...but more frequent. talking about diff things...just like in real life. and the stupid lil banners we hardly get....look so un professional its not even funny. also...its the same cut scenes over and over again. like at the 2 min warning...whatever team is winning stats is always showed for top 3. after first quarter we only see 1 play....just 3 times from different angles....come on really? its clearly easy to tell where Ea puts in their effort and where they dont....and there should be no aspect of the game that doesnt have full effort
6. for offensive pre play.....show me which defensive players are lined up in front of my wide receivers....how am i supposed to attack a mismatch if u cant ever tell which db is lineup in front? just show their names...that should be an easy yet welcoming addition.

u do kno they will not listen to a word we say right? its been this way forever they dont give a **** about the "community" .....i agree on what your talkin about but they need alot more they need complete gameplay overhaul the physics suck the way then run sucks doesnt even look like there on land...too much **** is wrong with this game EA pisses me off its in the game then put it in the ****in game madden has pissed me off and its ridiculous ive spent so much money on there franchise all of us have and they dont do ****...the gameplay is horrible the franchise is horrible the strategy is horrible its not even nfl football yah they got the flare and the name and the brand...but they dont got the game......

All EA has to do is drop the rights of the NFLPA (or whatever its called) and let 2K be some competition. Competition drives people to make the necessary changes to make a better freaking game.
NFL 2k5 was great...it was on its way to GREATNESS. EA is trying but its lacking the drive that 2k has....which is making a SPORTS game feel like your playing and watching an actual sports broadcast.
To put things in prospective, when NBA 2K11 comes out..picture that same type of presentation in a NFL game. IGN might of gave a NBA 2K11 a 9.5 but there has to be a god damn good reason for that!
EA has to stop trying the market the crap out of their games and actually put out a SPORTS games that actual mimics the respective sport.
If not, hardcore sports gamers like myself will not fork over 80 bucks every year just to "hope" that the game is somewhat entertaining.
I will give EA credit in one department though and thats the NHL franchise. Seeing that Im from Canada, im sure that any hockey game would do just fine though!

i just wish , they would make the players , have a since of urgency when its under 2 mins and your trying to rush back to the line, no one walks to the damn line of scrimmage , they run and get ready for the next play, say u have a long play and it goes for 20 or 30 plus yards, and u "hurry up" the 10 players jog to the ball and the qb walks and it waste at least 13 seconds thats not real .
