I am a huge sports fan and I have created dynasties in almost every sports game. I think that MLB the Show franchise is the most fun. However, I treat every dynasty like I am a real GM and this series will be no different. I don't make moves simply for my entertainment or to make my team weaker so its harder to win. If I build the best team in the league than I want to keep that title run for as long as possible.


My philosophy in building the Milwaukee Brewers will be an emphasis on youth and flexibility to enable long term success. Being a Brewers fan growing up I often felt that the team had a lack of direction in how they were built and thus all of us fans had to suffer for years with a terrible team. This is something I never want to do as a GM. I want to build a team that is young and fast on the base-paths. I value flexibility for position players that have a high upside. A player like Francisco Lindor or Ronald Acuna Jr are my ideal players that I love playing with and that I wish to build around. Young, talented, fast, and flexible is what I am going for in my position players.


For my rotation I want to have a premium of young arms in my rotation. The one thing I hate is a mediocre pitcher who is over 28 in my rotation. If they are not an ace or young and developing I don't see a point in having them on my roster. My ideal bullpen is to have 2 starters that are above my age threshold to have available for long relief when a starter gets rocked. My closer is the only spot in my bullpen that I wish to have a young talented stud like in my rotation. My middle relief and my set up guys I want to spend my least amount of assets. If these guys are older but can get the job done that is good enough for me.



In my farm system I want to have a premium of prospects that can be developed. I will trade a valuable piece of my team even if they are producing if they are above my age preference, for a young prospect that has more upside. My first goal is to accumulate young arms at the major and minor league level and worry about the position players later.


In being GM of the Brewers I wish to bring a new and exciting brand of baseball to the cream city that is driven by the youth movement. An exciting team with a lot of athletes is my goal and avoiding old free agents even if they are in their prime in order to have cap flexibility for later when we are real contenders. I will build the Brewers from the pitching mound outward. It will not be easy to accumulate young arms and I may have to give away heavy assets to get my desired players. My first step is to play and asses my roster because I have no clue what I even have. If I don't feel like I have a stud I can build around on the roster than I will scour the league so I can find my first piece.
