Roster
My roster that I inherited isn't necessarily bad. At the top of my rotation I have 2 young aces in Austin Wright and Jacob Quantrill that can definitely be the workhorses of the rotation. Austin Wright is 26 and that is a control artist and has high stamina that can go long in games. Not necessarily a hard thrower but should be able to place the ball wherever he wants. Jacob Quantrill is a big and burly lefty who stands at 6'2. At age 24 he is somebody that if he improves I can definitely see myself building around. As a sinker ball thrower he should be able to get guys out and work long into games without tiring fast. These two young pitchers are exactly what I want and I am excited to have them on the Brewers.

The rest of the rotation is filled out by Devon Sampson, B.J. Butler and Shawn Malone. B.J. is the best one out of the 3 but he is over 30 so maybe I can move him and get some young assets. Sampson and Malone are fairly young arms but if I can get some other players with better upside they could definitley be part of a package that I use to get some young studs.

In the bullpen I have a bunch of guys that don't get my panties wet to use other than one. My closer D.J. Ryan is a 26 year old stud. Hopefully he can be my closer throughout the dynasty, however my worry is that he will demand a big contract sooner rather than later.

My lineup has some pop to it. The first guy I noticed is Flash Miller. Young, fast, flexible, switch hitter and perfect for my lead-off spot. Absolutely the kind of guy that I want to have on my team. I don't think Flash is superstar material, but I imagine he can be a Byron Buxton type guy.

The lineup has 2 boppers in the middle with Michael McCoy and Troy Dennan. McCoy is clearly the best player on the team. In his prime and can mash the ball is an elite player in the MLB. Dennan is very very good as well. Although not elite and a bit old for my liking, he can still play, but I think Ill be looking to deal him for a package of prospects.

The only other player that I can see being an this team long term is Derek Hills. At 2B he is young and has potential. I don't think he has superstar potential but I think he can be a solid player moving forward.

The rest of my lineup needs work. I have 3 catchers and none of them are good. My outfield is a mess. I have no good depth really anywhere so there is a ton of work to be done.

In the farm system I have the 33rd rated prospect in the 3B Chase Mitchell who I am very high on. At 20 years old needs another year for polishing in the minors, but I imagine he will be an integral part of the team for years to come. I plan to bring him up next year and he with Flash will anchor my infield.

Two top 75 pitching prospects I have are Leonel Perez and Kazuo Yokoyama. Honestly I am not high on either of them. Leonel is already 23 and I don't see him as anymore than a bullpen guy while Kazuo is only 18 and miles away from being in the bigs.

A good prospect who is not rated but I think who could contribute soon is Gabby Gutierrez. He is only 20 but is my ace in double A and I think he could be a sleeper to be a contributor very soon.

I really don't have any other players in the minors who are on my radar at this point. Maybe some will pop as we get later in the year, but the farm system needs an influx of talent very soon.
