With Byron Scott being one of the worst coaches in the league and his assistant not much better, I decided to fire both and sign a duo of Rick Carlisle and Steve Nash, who know each other from Nash's time with the Mavs. This will really give us a boost.
FREE AGENCY
I tried aggressively to resign Wes Johnson but couldn't, and ended up signing Demarre Carroll, Kevin Seraphin and Mo Williams. Carroll is the ultimate three-and-D player, very underrated and the perfect glue guy at SF. Seraphin is very underrated as a good offensive young big who will challenge Henson for the center spot, although I prefer to start Henson for his defense. Williams is a decent backup PG. Carroll and Seraphin will earn around 5 million per year and Williams a bit more than 2 million. I also resigned Robert Sacre to a one-year deal to have him as a reserve and undrafted euro PG Cedi Osman in the same conditions. He is a 6'6" guard who can pass and score in the lane.
FREE AGENCY AROUND THE LEAGUE
-Lebron signed a 4-year max offer from the Milwaukee Bucks. Strange.
-Love signed with the Pistons and that gives them a frontcourt logjam with Monroe, Love and Drummond.
-Dragic resigned with the Heat, Draymond Green with the Warriors and Aldridge with the Blazers
-Marc Gasol signed with the Knicks.
-Golden State signed Marresse Speights to a ridiculous 4-year 33-million contract.
-Josh Smith signed with the Hornets.
