LAKERS MY LEAGUE - SEASON 1 EPISODE 2

With the season started, I decided to trade Jordan Hill, Tarik Black and a 2nd round pick to the Bucks for John Henson and Jorge Gutierrez. Henson is not highly rated but I think he is a premier option at center both in 2K and in reality. He is an outstanding defender and rebounder who can pass and score in the low blocks with jump hooks. With the Lakers in need of a long term option at the position, I plan to give him the playing time he has been needing. He is also a great complement to Julius Randle's skill set. The only problem is that he got injured in the first game he played in a Lakers uniform. A back injury will keep him out for 3 months. However, this trade helped me get another talented young piece to build my core with.
I made another trade: shipping Ed Davis to the Wizards for their 1st rd pick this year and DeJuan Blair. Davis is a very good player but I am not prepared to pay him this summer. The pick, along with the Rockets one the Lakers already had, will help us get some talent in the Draft.
The team sustained other injuries apart from Henson's: Kobe missed a month with an hyperextended shoulder, Sacre and Clarkson with sprained ankles, Randle with a sore foot, Wes Johnson with some issues as well.
Due to the shortage of big men I had to sing euro center Miroslav Raduljica, a faceup big who can score down low and provide size inside. In order to make this move I cut Ronnie Price.
