After the deals I made I was waiting for MCW to return from a dislocated patella, so I could trade him and a pair of assets, in order to get a point guard I was comfortable with. The trade deadline came and I was giving strong consideration to Ty Lawson, the Nuggets want to get rid of him and I like his speed in the open court. He is also a much better shooter than MCW. However, I couldn't get a deal done before the deadline and ended up staying with Carter-Williams for the rest of the season. I did manage to trade the expiring contract of Jared Dudley. I sent him over to Chicago along with a 2nd rd pick in exchange for Doug McDermott and Nazr Mohammed. McDermott provided some wuality shooting off the bench for the rest of the year, while Mohammed didn't play a single minute.
My lineup approaching the end of the season was the following:
