I started a Bucks MyGM weeks ago and decided to make it a tough defensive team that can run and gun on offense just like the Steve Nash Suns teams, but with more athleticism. I decided I had to keep Giannis, Middleton, Jabari and Henson to from an athletic starting lineup with a PG I would trade for, because MCW, in my opinion, doesn't really fit the system, because he can't shoot and is pretty sloppy with the ball.
I wanted to trade the veterans Dudley, Pachulia and Mayo so I could shed salary and get some good young pieces as well as a lottery pick for the 15 Draft.
So I hit the market looking for some shooting and maybe the point guard I was looking for, and made these moves:
- Acquired Hollis Thoompson and Late 1st rounder from Philadeplphia for OJ Mayo and 2nd rounder.
-Traded Zaza Pachulia, 2 rd pick and Late 1st rounder to Minnesota for Timberwolves 15 1st rounder and Chase Budinger.
-Traded Hollis Thompson and Bucks 15 1st rd pick to Washington for Wizards 15 1st rd pick and Rasual Butler.
After these trades, I ended up with the following team, and was at that moment the eighth seed in the East with half the season to go:
PG: M. Carter-Williams / J. Bayless / T. Ennis
SG: K. Middleton / R. Butler / C. Budinger
SF: G. Antetokoumpo / J. Dudley / D. Ingils
PF: J. Parker (Torn ACL) / E. Ilyasova / J. O'Bryant
C: J. Henson / M. Plumlee
