Okay, Im old...you caught me...take down the roadblocks...call off the dogs...but i remember when ps1 came outin about 1997 or was it 1995 and i thought 300 dollars, i cant afford that! And I still cant. But using frame of referance I can look back and se that its not how much the system costs but how long you cant wait. See, later this year PS4 will be officially announced and it will be expensive...I only have a PS2 and a PSP 3000 but i have about 110 Ps2 games ans another 20 for psp (mostly my fav ps1 classics) and ipayed less than 20 dollars for each of them by waiting for the ps3 to come out and letting the ps2 life cycle die out...this makes the system/ghames really cheap. the waiting is thte hardest part but i you can wait say 2-3 more years foir the ps3 life cycle to expire i think the system will be very affordable...a usedf one now is about 150 and the games are getting cheaper by the week. another price drop willoccur about the same time as thie years E3 anouncement of PS4 and XBOX Infinity. Trust me even though i have carpal tunnel from playing video games my whole life I wanna go buy a PS3 RIGHT NOW but I have higher priorities and cant...but in a couple of years when the gsames are 1/4 of teh price they were when thewy came out it will be all worth while. The trick is to buy them cheap and NEVER sell them......if you have an original ps1 Final Fantasy 7 its worth roughly 150 dollars now...and who doesnt want a huge library of video games...sometimes it takes me half an hour to pick a game to play because i have so many!!
