The Oregon Ducks thought that it would be an easy game against Rice. For the most part it was. Except the end. Oregon would hold on to win 102-99 but not after a feisty Owls run that tied the game up at 90. Ryan Wilson had a bad game shooting the ball. He was 18-48 from the field at 5-17 from 3, but finished with 48 points. Three Ducks scored in double digits, Wilson, Wells, and Singler.The Owls were led by star shooting guard, Julian DeBose and his 46 points. The win feels good for Oregon after losing its past 2 contests against Iowa State and Texas A&M, and moves the team past .500 to 5-4. Meanwhile the loss makes two on the Rice season, 3-2 is their record. The main reason Rice kept it close was due to the poor free throw shooting of the Oregon Ducks. They shot 42% from the stripe as a team.
