The Oregon Ducks easily tasted success for the first time since losing to Arizona State in the Pacific-12 Tournament last March. The Ducks defeated Eastern Tennessee State 97-63 on Thursday night in Eugene.

Ryan Wilson led the Ducks in scoring with 24 to kick off his sophomore campaign after winning conference Freshmen of the year the previous year. Oregon shot 50% for the game while holding E. Tenn. State to 43% shooting. The assists-turnover ratio was the key factor. The Buc's had a 1:2 assists-turnover ratio, in a 40 Minute game, that's a lot of turnovers per assists.While Oregon had a 22-13 ratio.

Darrian Wells, the top incoming Freshman for the Ducks registered 16 points in his college debut. E.J. Singler added 23 points for the Ducks as they move to 1-0 on the new season.
