I was watching TV the other day and decided to write this blog of just some thoughts I had, like when I seen Jacques Vaughn getting hired to coach the Magics. Wouldn't that be an awesome concept in a video game? where an ex-player (MYPLAYER?) after your playing career is over become a coach... this would extend the replayability of the single player and even the franchise experience.

With stats being a big part in sports, and everyone is looking towards "sim" style with oour sports videogames. When will we see the refs get their just due? I mean really, I know every game is suppose to be called the same way but 9/10 games aren't called the same...whether its umpires with different strike zones, a NBA REF calling a tight game or an NFL REF TEAM calling more pass interference then another.... with this added into our sports video gaming it can open up a whole "NEW" dimension to ... whats wrong with the NBA? We all seen it during LBJ recent return to Cleveland where he was allowed to score 38 points without anyone on the CAVS laying him out. Never did I see a Patrick Ewing or Starks talking to Jordan or Miller on the court like they were friends, sure they may have been friends after the game but during the game.... Enemies... With the recent news of the delay of NBA Elite what will the sales figures for NBA @k11 look like? Sure Elite was not really a competition for 2k11, but with it on the shelf next to 2k11 it was sure to pick up a few sales either from "fan boys" or just people not looking for a basketball experience( we all know 2k11 will sell out in some spots)...
