Halfway through , we clinb our way to a meager 20-20. Tmac has 24.6 ppg 7.4 Reb 6.2 ast 1.1 STL 1.5 Blk. Playing like a possessed madman. Carter is 4-6 weeks away . Mvp race includes Shaq , Grant Hill , Malone , Payton and ... 20 year old sensation Tracy McGrady! Roy looks to belong to Odom. Shaq , Hakeem and KG all vying for Dpoy.

Leading up to asg , it is announced that Tracy gets his first all star nod.. as a starter .

Raps limp into asg with 26-29 record . Would be a 7 place seed if playoffs started today .

Vince comes back health but has taken a a slight back seat to Tmac. 33-34 keeps us in 7 spot about 3/4 of the way through the season .

We end up finishing the season at 40-42. Good enough to get us a 7 seed matchup against Miami. Normally the Heat would overpower us but their star center , Alonzo Mourning is out 1-2 weeks with a strained left mcl ! Imagine a young team getting a first round win !
