So I recently played my roomate in a game of NBA 2K12. I bring my game plan, which is basically play the 'sim' way that most on here do.

My roomate is a cheeser. He tries to steal every inbound, uses 1-2 star players on offense, steal bash is his idea of defense. Turbo around to the paint and dunks with LeBron, D Rose, Rudy Gay, etc. And his friends all the play the same way. RANT: NBA Jam 2K12

That's what NBA 2K12 for online quick games might as well be called. In last year's game there were tools to help counter the cheesers - reach in fouls were called at a decent rate, steal spamming wasn't a viable option, and if you drove to the paint ad-nauseum prepare to get blocked at a decent rate.

NBA 2K12 is getting rave reviews all throughout the gaming press. Don't believe me? Just go to NBA 2K's Facebook page, where you'll see the glowing reviews. "4/4 STARS!" from AP. "10/10" from SI.com. "Perfect 10!" from GamesRadar. You'd think this game had no flaws. You would be wrong, and the fans seem to agree.

I know bashing Madden in the gaming community is about as original as hating on Justin Bieber in the...human community. But I can't get past looking at Madden as that ex who you used to spend all your time with, but as you got older things changed, and you grew apart. That's the way I've become with Madden now.
