I can't get over how good a game the Show could be if it just decided to make a few minor adjustments.
From what I've seen so far, 2K9's pitcher perspective is much more realistic looking than the Show's because it presents the exact angle of a broadcast game. The Show makes the pitcher and batter look too big in the frame. Even in "outfield" view, it appears that the camera is right up the pitcher's tukkus.

I bought the Show 09 last night and noticed something that has been bothering me about the franchise for a while. When fielding, your throwing power is noted by colored "rings" underneath the throwing player. MLB 2k and the old MVP series used/use the throwing meter instead.
I've found that you can hold down the specific throw button or tap it but the rings don't seem to accurately reflect how much power you are trying to put into a throw. It feels to me like it is predetermined. ... Read More
