Welp, I'm officially hanging up the current gen sticks.

With all the news that has surfaced with next-gen 2k14, I'm finding it impossible to play the current gen version. I tried playing on like 3 different occasions yesterday, but couldn't finish one quarter of play.

With Real Player interviews, a super deep MyGM mode, and Online Leagues, I think I'll just sleep and dream until next thursday night.

Same here... i cant play current gen 2k14 anymore, after viewing the next gen footage so far the graphics on CG looks like ps2 and are hurting my eyes.

I didn't even bother buying 2K14 on current gen this year. It looked too much like 2K13 and next gen was releasing around the time the NBA season started anyways.

Really? I was completely underwhelmed from the actual gameplay footage, after being blown away by the trailer a few weeks back. I mean obviously it looks better than current gen, but damn, $500 is a lot of money for a new system.

Yes, $500 is a lot but there are so many games on offer at release to justify buying one, should you be inclined...

I'm 42 and I am pumped for Friday. Unfortunately, I work at 1 am so Ill be picking up my system early Friday afternoon. I feel like a kid again. Traded my PS3 for additional trade in value. I still have a 360 if I want to play NCAA. Hard to believe a new generation is upon us. I think the PS3 / 360 generation didn't get a lot of credit it deserves mostly due to failed expectations, poor system launches with lack of consoles, price points, RROD, etc. but the generation evolved a ton over its span.

I pre-ordered Madden, Live (I like underdogs), 2K14 (hard to turn away those visuals), BF4 and CoD (got the PS3 version and am disappointed - BF much better).

Thinking of getting FIFA as well. It's going to be a great weekend!!!!
