20/21 Season Game 4 Colorado Avalanche @ Buffalo Sabres

Coming off of a shutout win in Columbus, Colorado headed to upstate NY to face the new look Sabres. It was all Avalanche in the first, as they outshot Buffalo 21-4 in the first, but weren't able to beat Ullmark until Mikko Rantanen's snipe with 7 seconds left in the frame. The Avs extended their lead in the second thanks to a Nazem Kadri goal from a Brandon Saad pass. The Avalanche were in total control later in the period after Donskoi finished a nice passing play. Buffalo got on the scoresheet early in the third when Reinhart put away his own rebound. Kadri nabbed is second goal of the game with Ullmark on the bench for an extra skater. The Avs head home to face Calgary before heading out East for an extended road trip.
