20/21 Season Game 3 Colorado Avalanche @ Columbus Blue Jackets
The Avs headed to Columbus looking to bounce back from the ugly defeat at home to Philadelphia. They responded as you would expect with a high energy first period, but the Blue Jackets stingy defensive style kept the game scoreless entering the first intermission. The opening 3 minutes of the second period proved to be the difference in the game. MacKinnon, Rantanen and Kadri scored in the span of 2:59 to put the Avs up 3-0. They rode another excellent performance by Grubauer the rest of the way to secure the first road victory of the season.
