NCAA Football 12 First Impressions - Aus

Now, since I�m in Australia
I finally got my own copy of NCAA Football 12

No matter what everyone has been saying, I found this to be a great game. I am not a person who hates on people like 2K for making All Pro or 2K5, but EA I think can do a lot better than 2K.

I played 11 a lot, and I defiantly feel there are loads of changes. Blocking has improved so much, same with Madden, not as much warp tackling, which helps my "good" running game.

So, for my first game, I jumped on as my Crimson Tide, to give out some revenge on LSU on All-American. I had the ball first, YAY ME

so giving it off to Trent was the best thing to do. I ran a Speed Option left, and I could feel the blocking when I was cutting up field so much better. The other main concern before I loaded up was with as I mentioned, warp tackling. Running things like HB Dives between the Guard and Tackle, or off the tackle to either side. This has improved so much as well, those DE when I was 2 yards near them, felt like superman, and just going beast on my linemen and making the tackle. Zone Coverage as well has improved, but still a lot of flaws, when in either Cover 2 with the LB's, they would run into each other sometimes constantly, and would just give up on my slot WR or my TE.

Even for those things, there are so much that still annoys me about the game. The main one is ATMOSPHERE, their Authenticity pitch means nothing if they can't get their ESPN integration right; it brings down the whole game. For example, at the start, the end of the 1st, 2nd, 3rd or Last the music was so quiet, and made the presentation seem really bad. The College Football song from ESPN makes it for me, and sends shivers up my spine when I watch it on TV, because I love the whole pageantry and excitement of College Football. The other one that is a problem, is when your LB's are playing Zone, and they take about 1 second longer to react to the run than normal, and allows especially Iowa and Oregon for me to get about 5 - 7 yards on myself consistently.

After I play a few seasons of RTG, and a few on Dynasty with Rice
