I�m an avid offline MyLeague player on the NBA 2k series. So much so that I often go out of my way to make every nuance as real as possible to my taste. From the tendencies, to the accessories, to the stats, it all matters to me. Like so many of my fellow OSers, I purchased NBA 2K14 current gen and was amazed at how polished the game play had gotten at the end of the generation. At the Gamestop Expo in Las Vegas, I spoke extensively with Ronnie2K and LD2K about all things related to video game basketball and even stretched the conversation over a light meal. First off let me say I love 2K14 next gen for what it is, not what many thought it should be. After getting a console at every launch since Sega Genesis, I�ve learned to manage my expectations when it comes to launch consoles and games, especially sports games. 2K14 is the premier launch title in my opinion because it�s the only one that released totally different products for current gen and next gen, both with significant things of merit. The question of whether or not NBA Live can reemerge like the Celtics did in 2008 to reclaim basketball supremacy can be answered multiple ways depending on who you ask.
