The Coaching Career of Bud Foster

Some would call me loyal. Some would call me scared. Some would call me stupid. The one thing I know is that I know defense, and no matter what I'm called, I will always know defense.

I've been at Virginia Tech for 17 years now. The blue collar defenses I've built have been recognized and I've had lots of offers to move on. It hasn't been right. It might never be right. I'm going to continue to coach defenses to the best of my ability. When the right opportunity presents itself, I'll strike as aggressively as my defenses do. I can promise that.
