The BCS never ceases to amaze me. Every year we get some screwball outcome. They say it cannot be changed because it would make the regular season insignificant. Well Texas BEAT Oklahoma and will not get a chance for the title, therefore, it is ALREADY insignificant.
I go back to my earlier blog, but if I was the Mountain West, WAC, Conference USA, MAC, MEAC, etc.....I would ditch the system and make their own playoff and call the winner the NCAA Champion.
The winner of the BCS is not the NCAA Champion...they are the so-called BCS champion. You would gut the BCS because I am confident Fox, CBS or NBC would pay nice money to televise the playoffs.

there has never been a national champion in 1A college football, every team in the country should claim a championship every year
