This mornings craptacular San Diego Union Tribune newspaper was another treat.

27 Billion needs to be cut from the California State Budget, with 2.5 billion being cut from schools.....YAY!

The SD city council is voting on 45 million in budget cuts, and 9 librarys, 7 rec centers are on the block to save 2.5 million....with my local library on the block. The one that is 1 block from both an elementary and middle school....YAY!

Meanwhile, the city will pay 160 million into a pension fund the city council voted to underfund in 2002 and 2006. YAY!

Cuts cuts cuts cuts cuts. It seems like the last 10 years we have had to deal with cuts...even in good years.

Where the heck are all my income taxes, property taxes and sale taxes going?

I hope the end of the tunnel will hit sooner then later.
