As I sit here in my house on this wonderful Monday I think to myself, how did I get to this point. A few weeks ago my life changed for the better. The Eagles won a big Thanksgiving day game against Arizona/ Then suddenly the Birds took me and the whole fanbase on a wonderful ride, that's still moving along by the way. That's right, the 2008 Philadelphia Eagles, who tied the Bungles and couldn't beat the Deadskins in the regular season, came back from the basement to make it to another NFC championship. Wow. I couldn't believe it myself. I was watching the game yesterday with the fam and kept seeing Eli Manning throw duck after duck and when he wasn't throwing ducks, his recievers weren't catching anything. Jacobs had an ok game but we stopped him when it counted on 4th down when they needed him. I was astonished by the tenacity the defense showed. We proved we were better than New York on a cold day in the Meadowlands.McNabb wasn't great but he wasn't terrible. He played good enough to guide us to a win against a juggernaut Giants team who went 12-4 in the regular season and was the number 1 seed in the playoffs. Westbrook didn't have a good day but our recieving core played good. It was just solid play from the entire team. This is not the same team who was once 5-5-1. No way by any stretch of the imagination. The Birds are on a quest for glory and know that they have to take it because it is not going to be given to them. In the end, we must defeat the Cardinals on Sunday and maybe just maybe we might be having another parade down Broad street come February. E-A-G-L-E-S. Birds fly high. I'm Out
