I'm sitting here in my dorm room this morning wondering if my fellow Eagles fans have gotten over the loss on Sunday night. probably not. To be truthful I haven't either. I listen to local sports radio in Philly and yeah my fellow fans haven't gotten over it one bit. Some blame the coaches, some blame players, some blame ownership. I myself think that it's personnel and coaching. We don't have good players on the defensive line, a young linebacker core, and getting old on the offensive line. No big tough runningbacks eiither. Personnel can be blamed on one person, Andy Reid. He calls the shots as GM/Head Coach. I can't wait til the offseason to see what ownership is going to do. If we don't make the play-offs, I wonder what is going to happen. I want a winner and Reid is just not doing what he needs to do to win. He needs to suck it up and take some chances. He also needs to stick to the running game also. When Westbrook starts out slowly, he throws out the running plays. But it is what it is and we gotta live with it.
Madden has been a good game this year. Franchise mode, my favorite mode in the game, has to be retooled though. Like every game needs to have a different feel to it. Better stats, like half tackles and half sacks. Better player progression and better draft prospects. Last night I was playing with my Birds franchise and my roomate walked in front of me and I lost the game. Just a little story there, but yeah I'm 11-4 in my 2nd season. I went 10-6 in my first year went on a run and barely pulled out the Super Bowl. I know you're thinking I'm a cheater, but I did in fact put it on a hard difficulty so I just naturally had to pull out every play-off game at the end. The super Bowl my defense came to life and we finally got some key stops. Madden 09 is worth your money, so if you don't own it yet, go to your local Gamestop or Best Buy and purchase it.
