*The COO discussed the dismissal of Wade Barrett and Sheamus. They are great wrestlers, he says, but just too unreliable as stable members. When you're not committed fully to his vision, you don't fit in. This is a group of the past, present, and future of the WWE. He is moving forward with Alberto Del Rio as the workhorse Intercontinental champion. Randy Orton, Del Rio, and Roman Reigns will compete to potentially face Daniel Bryan at Bash at the Beach and he is considering other options on the RAW roster. He'll give a fair shake to talents like Cody Rhodes, Dolph Ziggler, and even Austin Aries.

*Brodus Clay has joined up with the Prime Time Players in the tag division and David Otunga will apparently be their manager. Those two gave it a go at the Usos in a tune-up before the PPV. Otunga put the coffee down but fell to a super kick and full nelson atomic drop from Jimmy.

*Coming off of a shocker over C.M. Punk on Smackdown, Drew McIntyre engaged in an NWA title bout with Prince Devitt. The Sinister Scotsman did a Scot Drop then they traded a Bloody Sunday/Future Shock. They each got some more shots in but a reverse Bloody Sunday did in DrewMac.

*The impression has been given that Cody Rhodes is the fifth member of Evolution, as he tagged with Randy Orton averse to Austin Aries and his selected partner - Jay Lethal. It's not confirmed but it would make sense, considering he is the future of the business and he has history with Orton in Legacy. The Legend Killer worked over the younger team with Orton stomps and nailed a pop-up RKO on Lethal. Aries & the former ROH TV champ connected on a lift-up heel kick double team to Rhodes. The "Common Denominator Of Greatness" heated up with dropkicks and a tilt-a-whirl neckbreaker. They KO'ed Orton temporarily on a enziguri and DDT, then Aries piledrived Cody. A brainbuster messed up his Dashing face and the Ring of Honor alumni get another surprise win.

*Seth Rollins and Dean Ambrose kept the ball rolling from Monday in the form of a trouncing of United Kingdom's own Wade Barrett and Sheamus, who are on a serious cold streak as of late.

Ambrose let loose afterwards:

"The Shield was untouchable. And we will go down in the history books as one of the greatest groups in sports entertainment ever! We dominated WWE, we beat everybody, even Evolution. But we were healthy and meanwhile there was a cancer inside of us, little did we know, and that cancer's name — the cancer's name is Roman Reigns. History is full of people like you, Roman. Everybody in this building knows somebody like you, Roman. The kind of guy that would stab his brother in the back. Suck-up, who sells out to The Authority. Now when I get the opportunity to rearrange your face, which I will, your nose isn't gonna be here anymore, it's gonna be over here - by your ear. I say ear 'cause you only gonna have one left. I'm gonna rip your dirty stinking hair out by the roots. I'm gonna stuff it in your mouth, there will be a room where your teeth used to be. Roman Reigns, my brother — you're scum! We're all looking forward to what that scum has to say. We want you to stand out here in this ring in front of the whole world and lie through your teeth. We want you to stand in the middle of this ring in front of the whole world and we want them to hear Triple H's words coming out of your mouth. We're gonna listen to every word of it. And then we're gonna beat the living hell out of you!"

*The Mexican Aristocrat met his equal in technical ability again on Heat. Kurt Angle returned to the red brand and was promptly speared through a barricade. Del Rio spared no time in outclassing the veteran and ending it through the German suplex that snared him the Intercontinental championship.
