Royal Rumble (2014)
Elimination Chamber Qualifier
John Cena def. Damien Sandow
Cena caught me and probably the viewers a bit off-guard by matching Damien Sandow in technical ability at points during this one. The two found themselves entangled in more than one roll-up situation, countering into backslides and other pin attempts. "The Champ" was done messing around at 6:39, thumping Sandow into the mat with a Protobomb. It didn't get a pinfall and Cena then was flung with a full nelson slam on the outside. Sandow obtained a close 2 then was powerslammed onto steel stairs. Shortly after that, our "Savior" had the former Cenation leader in a chinlock and appeared to be nearing a tap-out victory. When Cena wouldn't submit, he brought him down with a Russian leg sweep. That set up a potential Terminus, but Cena reversed and dealt out his own finisher - the Cradle Shock. He has won his way to the Chamber at No Way Out.
WWE Tag Team Championship
The Brotherhood (c) def. International Airstrike
Gabriel, Kidd, and the Rhodes rumbled on the outside at the beginning of this tag title face-off. Gabriel smashed Goldust with a crutch and Kidd accompanied it with a Code Blue neckbreaker. Dustin responded with a Curtain Call, getting a 2-count while Gabriel worked over Cody with some suplexes. Cody landed back first onto a set of steps due to a half-nelson suplex from Gabriel. The Capetown Werewolf propelled the younger Rhodes up and down with Emerald Flowsion. Kidd went into a suplex chain on the elder Rhodes and Gabriel spun Cody around with a hurricanrana DDT. They progressed back into the ring until the formerly-Dashing One decided he want to inflict more punishment on the outside. He might have broken Gabriel's face with a running bulldog on to a second set of steps and a belt shot. Cody pulled off an Alabama Slam and tossed Gabriel back into the ring. The Nexus alumni lost for his team via a Cross Rhodes.

Wade Barrett and Sheamus def. Daniel Bryan and C.M. Punk
Daniel Bryan was dominating Wade Barrett for most of the match, until Kane interfered. He distracted the ref, attacked him and C.M. Punk, and threw weapons into the ring. Barrett took advantage of the situation and incapacitated Bryan with an Omega Driver.
30-Man Royal Rumble for World Heavyweight Championship match at WM XXX
That's right, the Authority announced there would be two Rumbles this year, due to the sheer amount of talent on both rosters. C.M. Punk was banished to Smackdown by Triple H to keep him out of the title picture, and was placed #1, a huge mountain to climb as we all know. #2 was Drew McIntyre, then Hulk Hogan, Cody Rhodes, and Jeff Hardy to round out the first five. Punk eliminated McIntyre and Hogan, while Cody was sent out by #5 entrant Sami Zayn. Hardy took out Zayn along with #8, Kofi Kingston. #7 was RVD, also thrown out by Punk. Number nine was the returning Big E Langston, who Punk lifted over and out. Kofi was tossed out by the Straight-Edge Superstar, as well. 10 was Wade Barrett, who eliminated Sin Cara (11) and partner Sheamus (12). Sheamus had pitched Hardy over. Seth Rollins came in at 13 and Punk heaved him over too. Santino Marella entered 14, and Roman Reigns got him out after being #19. 15 was Razor Ramon, and he took out #16, Randy Savage. 17 was the Miz, who was powerbombed out by Reigns. 18 was Kyle O'Reilly, Reigns' third elimination. After Reigns at 19 was M.V.P., who got Razor out. 21 yielded Edge and 22 was Yuji Nagata, who powerslammed Miz over. 23 was Kurt Angle, who hurled Edge over and was dropkicked out by Nagata. At 24, KENTA arrived and eliminated Nagata and #25 Jushin Liger. Dean Malenko was next in line, but he took a dropkick while down from Punk. 27 was the Samoan Submission Machine, who flung over the next man, Christian. 29 was Y2J, Chris Jericho, who chucked KENTA. The final entrant was the Hitman, Bret Hart, who catapulted Joe out. This was after him and Joe double-teamed Jericho. The final three ended up being Punk, Hart, and Reigns. Reigns slung the legend and Punk eliminated Reigns to win it all.
C.M. Punk wins the 2014 Smackdown Royal Rumble, earning a World Heavyweight Championship match at Wrestlemania 30.
30-Man Royal Rumble for WWE Championship match at WM XXX
The second of the two Royal Rumbles started with Daniel Bryan. He hoped to follow in Punk's footsteps, outlasting 29 other Superstars. The Rock made his return as #2, but Bryan ended his dream of being in the main-event again. He at least trimmed #4, Dean Ambrose, out of the match. Eddie Guerrero also went out by way of the YES! Man. The "It Factor" Bobby Roode was Bryan's 3rd victim. TNA's Austin Aries came in at #6, taking out #8 Mr. Perfect. He eventually was clipped by Chris Benoit, number 7. 9 was NextGen's Roderick Strong, then Kevin Steen. Steen eliminated Benoit, then got thrown out by #11, Goldust. Titus O'Neil happened to be 12, before being clotheslined out by DBry. 13 was Stone Cold Steve Austin, who teamed with Bryan to eliminate Strong. At 14 was fellow legend HBK, who #15 Ryback threw out. After that were Ric Flair, Jack Swagger, and Randy Orton - the last of which weeded out Austin. Flair was Ryback's 2nd discard, while Swagger went out by way of Orton. Hunter Hearst Helmsley, #19, felt the boot of the "Big Guy". Prince Devitt, #20, lasted until the final four. Orton and #21, Owen Hart, both were dropped by #23 Kazuchika Okada. 22 was Ted DiBiase Jr, who turned out to be kicked out by Rainmaker. Curtis Axel entered at 24, but was dropkicked by partner Ryback. Bully Ray came in at 25, then Jay Lethal and Adam Cole. The last one was Magnus, ejected by #29, Alberto Del Rio. Lethal was exterminated by Bully, while Ray and Cole were pushed over by #28, Andre the Giant. The final four were Andre, Devitt, Del Rio, and Bryan. ADR rid himself of Devitt and Andre. Bryan and Del Rio went at it for a bit until Bryan was the eventual victor. The unthinkable has happened for the former WWE Champion.
Daniel Bryan wins the RAW Royal Rumble, earning a WWE Championship match at Wrestlemania 30.
World Heavyweight Championship
A.J. Styles (c) def. Antonio Cesaro
AJ Styles comboed Antonio Cesaro with some clotheslines and a calf kick. He followed up with a huge spin kick. Cesaro returned the favor with a ridiculous elbow through the announce table. Swiss Death to the chin of AJ gained him a 2. Once they got back in the ring, Styles planted the Real American with a Styles Clash. Zeb Colter distracted the ref while Styles had the pin. Cesaro hit him with a spinebuster and deadlift gutwrench suplex. Moments later, he had him in a torture rack until he reversed into a DDT. The Phenomenal" did a second Clash on a steel chair, but Cesaro was not fazed. A minute after, he connected with the Neutralizer. It wasn't a 3 count so Cesaro threw him into the corner and off the rebound, did a Alphamare Waterslide. Styles recovered and flew with a corkscrew senton plus a standing moonsault. Next, Cesaro tossed Mr. TNA with a back suplex and a hatch suplex on a chair. Another spin kick drew a nearfall but in the end a 3rd Styles Clash got it done.
WWE Championship
Brock Lesnar (c) def. Dolph Ziggler
Ziggler swiftly powerslammed Brock onto steel steps to start off this one. Lesnar fired back with a back suplex that should have crushed Dolph's cranium, as it landed right on the steel. A belly-to-belly on the same steel continued to batter Ziggler's body. The Showoff did the same exact move, except on to a chair. Ziggy ran at the Beast and ate another belly-to-belly on the stairs. They brawled for a while and then Dolph cinched in the sleeper. The WWE Champion escaped and Ziggler was victim of a vicious F5. They fought around the outside and Lesnar lashed out a triple powerbomb. He continued the onslaught with a second F5 on steps that busted "the Natural" open. Lesnar furthered the impact on the back with a devastating German suplex onto the very same steps. He had to be frustrated when Ziggler kicked out. The former "Mr. Money in the Bank" finally got some offense in with a super kick. He thought he had it won, but it wouldn't be that easy. COO Triple H interfered, smashing the WWE Championship into his face. That allowed Lesnar to do a second trio of 'bombs, but even then the challenger would not quit. Another belt shot, this time to the back of the head, was followed by an F5 for the win. Brock Lesnar has retained the WWE Championship, but not without some help.
