The Rutgers Scarlet Knights will be entering the 2013 college football season with high hopes after making their way to an impressive 9-4 record in 2012. The Knights will have to overcome key loses such as running back Jawan Jamison, receivers Mark Harrison and Tim Wright, tight end D.C Jefferson, line backers Khaseem Greene and Steve Beauharnais, defensive backs Logan Ryan and Duron Harmon and many more. The question is can Rutgers football put together another solid year before heading off to Big Ten play?

This years offense will be running a spread look similar to Oregons. This move was made in hopes to fix a weak offense who arguably held the team back the previous season. The defense will be running a 4-3 base hoping to continue the success from the previous year.
