Phoenix Coyotes Franchise: SEASON OPENER

A tough divisional battle in the season opener for both teams at the always lively Shark Tank. The score does not accurately reflect the way this game played out, San Jose held most of the momentum throughout the game, however Phoenix was able to capitalize on the few chances they got.

Notables

LAURI KORPIKOSKi - He was a beast out there, killing penalties and also contributing offensively with the GWG. I'm hoping he can continue this style of play out, this is what I want to see from him on the second line.
MIKE SMITH - Absolutely standing on his head in the season opener, stopping 35 of 36. He kept us in it and was always battling.
MARTIN HANZAL- Showing he has the potential to become one of the leagues elite TWF's. Showed Datsyuk-like steals and moved the puck well for 2 assists on the night.

Thanks! I will be playing a good amount of the games in the first couple months, just to get a feel for what type of team I have, and then after I will be simming a good amount of the games.
