Freddie Coleman: Welcome back to Gamenight brought to you by State Farm. Like a good neighbor, State Farm is there. I am your host Freddie Coleman and I am joined by Dat Dude Marcellus Wiley & former All-Pro Eric Allen. We are recapping some of Sunday's action as we are almost finished with week 5. Let's take a look at the Jaguar-Broncos game. The Broncos held a 28-7 advantage after 3 quarters and were able to hold on for a 28-21 victory. Eric what stood out about this game for you?

Eric Allen: Well the thing that stood out for me was the matchup of Brandon Marshall against his former team. I figured that he would have a huge game despite the Broncos having such vaunted cornerbacks. I was wrong. Marshall was held to 22 yards on two catches and was never a factor in the game. I forgot he was on the field at times. Marcellus, what caught your eye?

Marcellus Wiley: For me it was Jay Cutler. He dissected the Jaguars defense for 262 passing yards, three touchdowns and more importantly no picks and only one sack. He controlled the game and showed why some peopel have put him in that elite class of quarterback. He still has to show more consistency for my taste. He hit seven receivers on his 19 completions and he may have found his #1 guy at receiver. Rookie Tra Campbell had eight catches for 121 yards and two touchdowns. This team is starting to look scary.

Coleman: I was impressed by the Bronco run defense yet again. They have given up a total of 146 yards rushing in four games this season for an average 36.5 yards a game. Last year this defense was porous on the ground and in the air and with some key free agent signings and draft picks they have done a complete 180. They are looking really good. Marcellus, what is this defense doing differently? Is it just the change in personnel?

Wiley: The change in personnel is obviously key. Adding Peppers, Asomugha & Suggs is a definite upgrade, but new Defensive Coordinator Chuck Bresnahan has instilled an aggressive system that attacks the offense. You heard of bend, but don't break? His system is break, break, break. Normally when you have an attacking defense like that you are vulnerable to giving up big plays. However, with their secondary and with their sure tackling linebackers, this hasn't been an issue through four games. Amazing.

Coleman: Eric do you think this Denver team is for real?

Allen: I think they are. If they limit turnovers, they have enough talent to win the AFC West. I was amazed that Asomugha, Peppers & Suggs signed with Denver, but having all that cap space was key. Also Head Coach Jason Griffin has proven to be a great talent evaluator. His draft knocked it out of the park. And just think, they have three 1st rounders, three 2nd rounders, four 3rd rounders and four 4th rounders in next year's draft. This team could be scary for years to come. But the key is still Cutler. As he goes, so go the Broncos.

Coleman: Rookie RB Ozzie Jones had another 100 yard game & Nnamdi Asomugha picked off his league leading fourth interception this afternoon. Second year WR Dexter Jackson was the Jaguars star of the game with seven catches for 85 yards and two td's. The Jags travel to division rival Tennessee next week and the Broncos travel to New York to play the Giants. This is Gamenight brought to you by State Farm.
