Oakland rookie QB Joe Kain has thrown for 300+ yards in all four games this season, but his three interceptions helped lead the Raiders to their fourth straight defeat. Kain has had an impressive start throwing the football, leading the league in yards, td throws and unfortunately for the Raiders interceptions. Three picks and a lost fumble led to 17 Bronco points in a 38-22 defeat. Jay Cutler threw for 256 yards and two touchdowns. he also led the team in rushing with 52 yards on six carries. Rookie RB Ozzie Jones omly gained 43 yards on 28 carries, but rushed for two td's. The Bronco defense continued their dominance against the run allowing only 38 yards. They also had four sacks to go along with the four turnovers. Oakland first year coach Gary Hammermill is still encouraged by the direction his team is heading. "Joe (Kain) is experiencing some growing pains, not unlike what Peyton Manning went through his rookie season, but you can see the progress. I know that he will lead this franchise to many victories in his career here. I just want to get the first one soon," said Hammermill. The Raiders will host the 1-3 Texans next week, while the Broncos will take on the 3-1 Jaguars in Denver.
