This is a dynasty in which Coach Nosa looks to bring to Chapel Hill what Mack Brown thought he never could. A football connection to at least be mentioned in the same breath as the schools basketball team. 1st year coach Nosa knows this will not be a small task. With hard work and recruiting as well as great game plans most of the students and alumni are optimistic about the outcome of the program.

On Offense the Tar Heels are solid with a solid o-line led by veteran Bodine. Offensive captain Renner looks to make this year better than last. It will be a good year full of excitement and more of the new and less of the old. Coach said he looks to run a hybrid system. "We have athletes on both sides of the ball, I plan to give this schools football club a new face and a new look in a short time, my goal is to have this school mention with the Bama,Georgia, Oregon, Clemson year in and year out" said coach Nosa. While watching the team practice the past few days we noticed several different looks for the heels. Some formations stood out more than others Flexbone looks several pistol looks as well as some wildcat.

On defense it looks like they are still trying to find out who goes where. You see some LBs playing defensive end and some ends playing tackle. UNC will open up Week 1 against the South Carolina Gamecocks on the road. Should be a good game since both are rivals and have high expectations this year.
