Let's face it; steroid use was (probably still is) rampant throughout the last 15-20 years of baseball. If these major superstars were doing it, what makes anyone think lesser players weren't doing it in an attempt to keep up with their more talented bretheren? I guess we shouldnt' be shocked by any of this.

Griffey is just about the last hope left but one can't help but bunch him with the bad apples due to the era he's played in.

Well said. Nothing is shocking anymore. (Though I would be shocked to hear Griffey's name, tbh) Baseball can't stop getting bad press.
