In a game that mattered more than a little bit to both teams, the New Orleans Hornets gave Chris Paul a loss in his return to New Orleans with his new team the Los Angeles Clippers. As you may recall Paul was recently traded in return for Chauncey Billups and Chris Bosh.
Bosh, who had a game high 24 points and 11 rebounds led the way for the Hornets in the victory with Billups chipping in a meager 6 points but made solid passes to set up Bosh all night. Chris Paul led the way for his team with 14pts and 10 assists.
Paul Pierce who is also a newly acquired addition to the New Orleans family had a great shooting game scoring 21pts respectively, and making the Clippers defense look non-existent as he was pouring it in from mid-range all over the court.
The Hornets have been up and down like a theme park roller coaster this season going on short winning and losing streaks all season. When asked for an interview for the piece Coach 9milly declined to interview but did say that its not even the halfway point in the season and there is no reason to panic in New Orleans this season. The management have made alot of changes and the team is growing and gelling but its going to take time. Hopefully from this author and fan's standpoint they do it quickly as the playoff race in the west is heating up already.
