Pretty impressed with this game thus far, though I haven't gotten knee deep in it's s**t yet, and more than likely won't until the rosters are released. I have last years version as well and the upgrades seem to be reasonably many for one years time, in gameplay at least. I decided to get this game last year after listening to some sports talk radio in my local area, a station out of chicago called 670 The Score (not bad stuff, especially Laurence Holmes for you Chicago guys) I had not bought the game previously, well, ever. I thought the game was really good, gameplay and franchise modes, as well as online multiplayer and clubs. I actually think it was my second game purchase for my PS3 (filling time until Final Fantasy 13 arrived, sorry all you RPG dislikers, and after NBA Live 10) This years installment seems to have been at least slightly looked at, with some cool upgrades in gameplay, and some simple ones that makes the game seem more realistic, which is what I look for when playing sports games, realistic gameplay and a very in-depth franchise/gm/dynasty mode. I'm looking forward to getting the opening day rosters and starting up the be a gm mode with the Blackhawks, so I can check out if they made any changes to that mode as well... a main reason I got the game last year was because, yes, Kane on the cover. And this year with Toews, I'm sure not to sell these games for the 5 dollars I could bask in at the local game chain next year
