The game looks intriguing. I like being able to customize players & jerseys even if the characters look kind of weird.
But have a few questions that I was wondering if anyone knows the answers to.

- Do stats & progression carry over if I finish a season and continue? Like will it will keep my players (and other teams) stats from previous years when I click on them or they will stay higher if I improved them?

- Can you go to league leaders and see the players leading in Ave, HRs, Stls? And does it keep track of MVPs and things.

- What about trades and other things you can do in most Franchise modes of sports games?

Thanks for any info.

last years game had a league leaders section for pitchers and hitters.
No awards though.
no trades last year either, probably not this year either.

For franchise mode this year I will be happy with stats carrying over. That would satisfy me. Not sure if that is officially in this year though.

Seeing all of the customization options in Fire Pro Wrestling World in practice is making me really wish this game came out in the summer. September seems so far away.

My son plays Super Mega almost everyday.

He will probably love the new one if it has more customization and a deeper franchise mode (year to year stat tracking etc).

Super Mega Baseball crashes for me when I try and resume my season, so I'm going to either have to find a fix or wait out at least another month here for the next iteration.

EDIT: Nevermind, looks like I just have to sign out of my PSN account then sign back in after I get into my season mode.

Is there a release date yet? Do we know anything about multi-year play? Thanks for any help out there!

At this point with such little info being released so close to release, I would be shocked if it's released in September.

SMB2 is delayed until the spring of 2018. It's unfortunate, but it should be a much more complete game.

Damn. Thought this was going to compete with Everybody's Golf for my gaming time this fall.

Bummer but I’m honestly ok with it. Way too much **** coming out lol.

Not surprising and probably for the best. I definitely would have been playing it, but it would have lost its luster quickly with baseball ending, football in full swing, and NBA starting. I just hope it's out when Spring Training starts and they don't wait until around Opening Day.

I just hope that "Spring 2018" doesn't mean June like "Mid 2017" meant September

I'll keep an eye on this. I liked the first one, but it needed more modes and depth.

Agreed with many above - good decision to make sure the game is ready. Looking forward to spending a lot of time with this one next season. Hoping the refine the career/franchise mode!

Its obviously good to delay until ready. However, to delay and release in competition with the show is bad news IMO. A September or OctobEr release would have been pretty ideal. Those that are sim or "pure" baseball guys already obvioulsy had their fix with MLB but a couple of months later would be more willing to break tradition for a breath of fresh air and fun.

It's only competition if you own a ps4. For others it will be their only baseball fix for the new season.

I can see that. I have a ps4 and havent bought the Show since 2014.
Just wasnt fun for me anymore.
Super Mega baseball was the baseball game I played when it came out. I felt the hitting had alot more variety - games were quicker and the framerate was above and beyond.

I am buying smb2 over the show regardless in April. I think the company realizes they have a group of customers that will buy the game no matter when its released. Plus- this allows them to add more stuff to the game.
