MLB The Show 17 News Post

Its 2017 and the world is still obsessed with the long-ball. Plus, when it comes to adding some insta-offense to your lineup, power hitters are a great option to turn towards.

In this video we look at eleven of our top recommendations for power hitters. Some are going to be much more expensive to come by (*cough* Mike Trout) versus others. However, if you are looking for a power hitter to add some dynamism to your lineup, these 11 guys fit the bill.

Be sure to check out our list in the video above and add your own suggestions in the comments! Also, if you haven't done so, be sure to subscribe to us!

Schwarber and Khris Davis hit bombs for me.

George Springer vs Lefties is not even fair.

That Franklin Guitterez bit at thee end is a bit awkward...

No Rake Lamb no party though, the guy absolutely destroys the baseball better than anyone else I've used, same as last year

An interesting sequel to this video would be one showing the most UNbalanced power hitters in the game. Schwarbs and Nomar come to mind...

I've been trying to pull Pujols from LAA and make him my Sox full time DH alas no luck.
I'd love to have his 76/80 pwr. in addition to his 89 vision. then you combine that with the fact his contract is so out of whack compared to IRL. If I'm a fat kid then Prince Albert is my donut

A big time overlooked one is Ryan Schimpf. If you can afford to platoon him, 87 power against right handers. But unfortunately almost useless against lefties
