Really interested to see what they did. Lot of major issues we have been having for a while hat have yet to be addressed.

Lots of gameplay fixes huh? Can't freaking wait. This patch is either gonna be really good or really bad lol.

Hope this gameplay addresses strength attribute. What's the point of my shot creator's 52 strength even if my guy is doubled the strength of these point fowards with 27 if I can't run past them after I have a step on them.

I don't like seeing my dude going into the post even though I'm stronger than the opposition.

If it doesnt address the game taking an hr to load then who cares.

I hope this isn't another gameplay patch that effs up the game. Hoping they actually fix some stuff we've been asking them to fix.

Exactly. I can't even be bothered to play the game anymore. If they fix the crazy load times, I'd be over the moon.

There are so many different camps in terms of what people want regarding gameplay, that it's going to produce the entire spectrum of opinions about it's quality.

You have people who have spent months crafting a playstyle that is based off of exploiting flaws in the gameplay mechanics, they're probably going to completely flip out if a lot of those exploits are finally fixed.

Good.

If they want cheese They can pick up NBA Playgrounds when it drops. I payed $80 CAD for what was advertised as a sim basketball game, let me play something realistic thanks.

Hope its fixes for interior passing. AI forces it way too much and its too easy for the user. Wouldnt mind seeing more tipped balls out of bounds.

The practice of releasing Patch Notes AFTER the patch is released still well and truly baffles me.

Hope y'all had fun in Pro Am/Walk On, because that **** about to be broken as hell. Happens every patch.

My Pro Am team has been playing actual basketball and we all seem to be lactose intolerant so we use no cheese. If the patch is righteous then we will just be that much better. However, I have a feeling I will be finishing FF15 and Uncharted instead.

Well I'm sure they've been tinkering with stuff and watching the forums(despite what you guys think) to see what's going on. Probably using this last patch as a test to see how it'll work in 2K18. If people complain and say it's too much, they'll probably tone it down and make adjustments going forward.

What time do you think the patch will drop?

# 16 zizoux @ 04/07/17 10:25 AM
Is it today or tomorrow though? Ronnie posted the news at around 3 am today.

I agree with this 100 percent. This game even with it's current flaws is really fun when you can find an opponent that won't exploit every ai flaw. Good smart basketball and open shots should always beat constant turbo and spamming steal. Unfortunately, that is not always the case. Even if you do beat the cheesers its an awful experience. Hopefully this patch will address some of those issues.

Which is funny because other games that have build breaking patches usually offer skill point refunds.. In Path of Exile for example, if they have a patch that heavily nerfs a certain skill, they will refund all of your spent skill points to give you a chance to fix it.. No chance of that ever happening on this game..

Please, Please, Please, Please, fix the on the fly ACE Menu. This will go along way in knowing what type of defense I'm in so I don't mess up the rotations which makes the CPU help when it should not or rotate to a sport it should not be in because I don't know what defense I'm in at the moment.

I just hope that the patch is released for both consoles today and they don't leave us XBox guys out to dry.
