Not the game's fault, but that New Era logo looks terrible.

I already was hyped for '17 as I am every year. But after watching a ton of gameplay in the stream today, and looking at the "graphical improvements" to the faces, player models, and customization they added this year. Im convinced this game is going to be tremendous.

From the improved lighting to the ball physics, the gameplay this year is going to a whole a new level.

Big shout out to the whole San Diego Studios team. Thanks for the attention to detail and the overall tireless effort to make this game better every year. Those who accuse this company of being complacent because they are the only baseball game around, just simply aren't paying any attention.

I think this is the biggest year over year quality jump they've ever made.

I was honestly getting a little burned out on the game due to lack of real strides to the gameplay, but this year looks to be such a big jump I am totally pumped. Like really really pumped.

It's going to ruin some of the immersion when I use retro rosters. Have they mentioned it helmets are still tied to jerseys? Or did the change it to caps?

I'm glad I upgraded to the PS4 Pro a few weeks ago. I also upgraded to the an LG OLED 4K TV as well to go with it. I'm still trying to figure a few things out (maybe I'm not quite as up on the whole 4K HDR thing as I thought), but so far NBA 2K looks stunning. I can only imagine what The Show is going to look like.

I'm like a couple of people on here. I've gone into the system settings on the Pro, and I don't think it's recognizing it - even though I know it's OLED HDR.

March 28th seems so very far away!

You guys sure you saw HDR? A few people i know thought they had HDR but they got it confused with it actually saying UHD.

Oh yeah. I know for sure mine is. I actually just figured mine out a few minutes ago. It was so simple I kind of felt dumb for not knowing how to straighten it out from the get-go.

Apparently, I found this out today (And am still sceptical about it) my Home theater manager said that there are two types of HDR, on that only does movies like 4k blu-rays and one that does that and games?

Reason it came up was because I was looking at the 7000 series 40" samsung 4k HDR for my new tv and I asked him about it and he said it wouldn't work with the Pro.

Again, I'm still skeptical but I mean anything is possible. I've been searching the web for answers with no results yet.

Some HDR TV's need the option enabled in settings. The option on my Samsung was hidden in 'Expert Settings' in the 'Picture' options.

Game Over.

Wow, Grass Tech really is a minor change. Barely deserved the mention. Maybe next year we'll get a richer, deeper green.

A bit of topic, but is Suntrust Park in the game as the Braves new stadium? Thanks!

Nope, he's wrong. You have HDR10 and Dolby Vision. HDR10 is mandatory on 4K sets that claim they can do HDR. However, just because the set says it does HDR, don't assume all HDR sets are created equal. For HDR10 you need a certain color spectrum, not all tvs are able to accomplish that.
